The great thing about it is that your links are out there for as long as anyone has the product. Months later someone can see one of your limks and say, “Hey I need that”, and if they follow through your have made a commission and you didn’t have to do any additional. Great post Joel, viral marketing if not the MOST effective method of marketing there is. Another way to get people interested in passing along your ebooks is to make it rebrandable or by adding a RT (retweet) script to the download page itself that “redirects” it back to the homepage when it’s retweeted, I use RT scripts on some of my sites and they work well.
